Old Redbird Guitar, Cardinalis pedal and Satellite 1x10 custom combo amp set SOLD
Another collaboration set from myself and my friend Sam at Cardinal Instruments.
The Old Redbird is a completely refurbished, made in the USA, mid-1960s Airline Bighorn. Refretted by Sam. Refinished in Cardinal milk paint and violin varnish. Pickups are both custom wound Cardinal hum buckers. New tuners. TonePros intimated wraparound bridge. New CTS 500k pots, Switchcraft jack and switch. New pick guard, and a new bone nut. Weighs 5.8 lbs.
The pedal is a custom one off boost pedal that I designed for Sam. Similar to the Sully pedal I made a few years back.
The amplifier is a 12 watt combo, built to go with this guitar. Satellite lineage, but a custom built circuit. Vintage Califone transformers, with a pair of 12ax7 preamp tubes and a pair of vintage Telefunken ECL82 power tubes, running into a vintage alnico 10” speaker.
