Scamp Amplifier
The new Scamp amplifier is our budget minded amplifier. Coming in at around 20 watts, through a pair of 6V6 power tubes, it works as a great studio amp, or even a mid sized live amplifier.
We designed this amplifier to decrease costs, without sacrificing overall sound quality. Among the changes and features are:
The Scamp comes in an all metal enclosure, in only one color. There is a metal cage enclosing the tubes for safety, instead of a wooden head cabinet.
• Mercury Magnetcs power transformer.
• Mercury Magnetics output transformer.
• Pair of 6V6 power tubes, pair of 12AX7 preamp tubes.
• Single input and output jacks.
• Volume, Tone and Half Power control.
• Still hand wired in the USA, just like all the other Satellite Amps
A matched black 1x12 cabinet is now available
Wooden side handles added as an option.
Current build time is roughly 2 weeks.
