Bass Cuda
Introducing. the Bass Cuda. Over the past few months, the Bass Cuda has been prototyped and put through its paces. It is ready.
I designed the Bass Cuda to be a versatile workhorse amplifier. A pair of 6550 output tubes, push in the neighborhood of 65 watts. A 12AT7 and a 12AU7 are in the preamp and driver stages respectively.
High and low inputs, selectable 4, 8 and 16 ohm outputs. Mercury Magnetics transformers. All still hand wired and built by us here in San Diego.
For the initial run, we are offering the new amplifier in only the metal cage variation. Towards the end of summer, we will be offering a variation in a standard sized wood head box.
Units will begin to ship mid-July, and should be reaily available after that with a rough 7-10 day build time.
